1928 - 2015

Bathurst - George Joseph Guidry, formerly of Jacques Cartier Dr., Beresford, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2015 at the age of 87, at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Bathurst.

Born in Montreal, he was the son of the late Oden and Bernadette (DeGrace) Guidry.

George was the owner of  ''La Boutique Ltd'' until his retirement.

He was predeceased by his wife, Marie (Lavigne) Guidry in 2013.

He is survived by two sons: Lorn (Debbie) and John (Rachael) both of Bathurst.

Four grandchildren: Jason (Rayanne), Tracy (Sharon Morgan), Jennifer and Adam. 

Three step-grandchildren: Alex, Thomas and Megan.

One sister, Rita Montpetit (late Hubert) of Montreal. 

One brother, Robert (late Gabrielle) of Moncton.

Several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 9, 2015 at 2 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave, Bathurst. 

Donations in memory of George may be made to the Foyer Notre-Dame-de Lourdes, Bathurst or a favorite charity.
