1949-2016

Bathurst – Mrs. Brenda Neumann, of  Birchwood Drive, Bathurst, passed away July 26, 2016 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer.  She was 66 years old.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Gertrude (Furlotte) MacKenzie.

She is survived by her loving husband of almost 50 years, Terry Neumann; daughter Cheryl Yates (Allan) of Merrickville, ON; son Cory Neumann of Fredericton, NB; daughter Dana Neumann of Fredericton, NB; granddaughters Andrea Pfister (Glen); Laura Yates; Chelsea Neumann; and Heather Yates; sisters Liz Good (Leslie), Carolyn Stanger (Ralph), Bonnie Godin (Ronald), all of Big River; brother Richard MacKenzie (Sandra) of South Tetagouche; and many brothers- and sisters-in law, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother, Jack; and sister, Penny.

At her request, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. 

Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday morning July 30, 2016 at 11 a.m. from Elhatton Funeral Chapel, St. George St, Bathurst.   Donations in memory of Brenda may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a favorite charity.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhaton.com), Bathurst.
