Bathurst - Mrs. Kathleen Pitre, 67, wife of Raymond Pitre, of Poirier Lane, Bathurst, passed away suddenly at her residence on Wednesday March 1, 2017.

Born in Rouyn-Noranda, Que., she was the daughter of the late Alfred Sear.

Besides her husband of 45 years, she is survived by three children:  Julie Pitre of Gatineau, Que., Cyndie Pitre (Marc Desrosiers) of Bathurst and Wendy Lawrence (Richard) of Pictou, N.S.

Four grandchildren: Marli, Cameron, Gabriela and Brodrick.

Two brothers, Marcel Sear (Lucie Trudel) of Rouyn-Noranda, Que. and Harry Sear of Toronot, ON.  Four sisters:  Alice Sear of British Colombia, Rosemary Connelly (Carl) of Rouyn-Noranda, Que., Nancy Ciancarelli (Dominic) of Ottawa, Ont. and Roseanne Sear of Niagara Falls, Ont.  Many nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by a sister, Rita Tremblay.

There will be no visitation or Funeral service.  A private family gathering will be held at a later date.  Donations in memory of Kathleen may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donors choice.
