It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Mrs. Valerie Noël, wife of the late Thomas Noël, of Bathurst, which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the age of 85.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and the late Regina (Doucet) Vienneau.
She is survived by her six children: Pearl (late William) Morris, Denise Noël, Gary (Geraldine) Noël all of Bathurst, Marlene (Adam) Noël of Ajax, Ont., Rachelle (Ken) Carter of Dartmouth, N.S. and Laura (Vincent) Snyder of Mineville, N.S. Six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Four sisters: Stella (late Jarvis) Boucher of Bathurst, Elvine (late Philippe) Doucet of Petit-Rocher, Claudette (late Aurèle) LaCroix and Julie (late Claude) Boudreau, both of Bathurst. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son, Daniel and a sister, Joan DeGrace.
There will be no visiting at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 1st 2017 at 2 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst.
