The family announces the sudden passing of James "Jamie" Schoolcraft, formerly of Bathurst, which occurred in Toronto on May 5, 2017 at the age of 34.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of Ron Gauthier (Bernadette) of Bathurst and the late Faye (Coombs) Schoolcraft.
Besides his father, he is survived by three step-brothers: Jerrid Coombs, Ryan Gauthier (Natacha) and Kyle Gauthier.
Three step-sisters: Lucie LeClair (JM), Sylvie Hache (Remi) and Jenna Gauthier.
One godson, Christopher LeClair. Paternal grandparents: Albany and Simonne Gauthier.
Two Uncles: David Gauthier (Diane) and Kenny Schoolcraft (Claudette).
Three aunts: Anne Gauthier (Don), Penny Schoolcraft and Patty Anne Legacy (Michel). Several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by maternal grandparents: William and Patricia Schoolcraft.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 12, 2017 at 11 am from Elhatton Funeral Chapel (www.elhatton.com), St. George St, Bathurst. Donations in memory of Jamie may be made to a favorite charity.
