Mrs. Joyce Branch, 64, wife of Norman Branch, of Picot St., and formerly of King Ave., Bathurst, died Friday (April 15, 2004) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of Ada (Glendenning) Scott and the late Kenneth Scott Sr. She worked at the former W.J. Kent & Co. Ltd. for 14 years and later at Wal-mart until November 2004. Besides her husband, Norman, and her mother of Bathurst, she is survived by: Three sons: Kenneth Branch (Monique) of Oromocto, NB William Branch of Darthmouth, NS Robert Branch of Shilo, MB One daughter: Chantal Tycholiz (Ron) of Kenora, ON One brother: Kirk Scott (Edith) of Bathurst Four sisters: Thelma Gander (Robert) of Fredericton, NB Marion Lavigne (Leo) of Marathon, ON Margo Smith (Douglas) and Muriel Basque (John) both of Bathurst Three grandchildren, Charlene, Samantha and Nicole. Many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a younger brother, Lloyd Kenneth in 2003. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday afternoon (April 19, 2005) at 2:00 p.m. from Saint George's Anglican Church, King Ave., Bathurst.
