Barbara Anne (Sophie) Arseneault of Moncton and formerly of Bathurst passed away at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at the age of 69.

Born in Bathurst, Barbara was the daughter of Theresa (Theriault) Hudon of Bathurst and the late William Hudon.

She is survived by her common law spouse of many years, Hal Blanchard. 

Her son:  Marcel Arseneault (Sylvie) of Saint John and daughter Tania Arseneault (Philip-Michel Noel) of Moncton.

Three grandchildren:  Matthieu, Dominic and Emily.

Seven sisters: Lita Ann Roy (Roger) of North Tetatgouche, Regina Anne Kotowich (Dwayne) of Alberta, Albina Anne Hudon of Bathurst, Dianna Hudon of Petit Rocher, Juanitta Hudon and Donna Lee Young (Glenn) both of Beresford and Angela Hudon of Shippagan.

Three brothers: Roger Hudon (Sadie) of Bathurst and Kenneth Hudon of South Tetagouche, Marcel Thibodeau (Linda) of Petit Rocher.

The father of her children Gerald Arseneault of Allardville.

Many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers Ronald William Hudon and Yvon Hudon. 

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 pm on Wednesday, March 7th, 2018 from Holy Family Church, Bathurst. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
