Harry Knowles, 68, of Clifton, passed away on Sunday February 25, 2018 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Morris and Mary (Scott) Knowles.
He was a truck driver and fisherman.
Besides his wife, Kim (Scott) Knowles he is survived by 4 children:
Jennifer Knowles of Canobie, Heather Daley (Rick) of Salmon Beach, Mitch Good (Aysha Walsh) of Canobie, and Janna Thibodeau (Joey) of Bathurst.
7 granchildren: Brady, Brendan, Justin, Sheradin, Mika, Maddison & Bella and one great-granddaughter Kylie.
Three brothers: Brian Knowles of Oromocto, Preston Knowles (Elaine) and Laurie Knowles (Dora Mae), all of Clifton.
Four sisters: Wanda Ellis (Sydney Smith) of Brampton, ON, Darlene Weichel of Parry Sound, ON,
Debbie Henry (Jim) of Brampton, ON and Diane Ellis (Stephen) of Canobie.
Numerous nieces and nephews.
The body will rest at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 2-4 p.m & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday afternoon March 1, 2018 at 2 p.m. from Central United Church, Clifton.
In memory of Harry, donations made be made to the Mgr. Henri-Cormier Lodge (333 Highfield Street, Moncton, NB E1C 5R7), the Central United Church or a charity of the donor’s choice.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Marc-André Doucet, the Extra Mural Program, and the staff of the Palliative Care Unit for the care that Harry received.
