Kenneth (Kenny) Charles Whelton of Bowmanville, Ontario and formerly of Black Rock, N.B. passed away February 27,2018 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst, at the age of 67.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of Regina (Madden) Whelton and the late Basil Whelton.
Besides his mother of Black Rock, he is survived by two sisters: Glena (Clarence O’Hearn) of Pokeshaw, and Karen (Ulric Landry) of Bathurst; three brothers: James (Avelena) of Heron Bay, Ontario, Basil of Black Rock, and Roland (Mitzi) of Canobie.
Several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Besides his father, he was predeceased by two brothers-Wayne and Keith.
At his request, there will be no visitation at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Simon & St. Jude Church, Grand-Anse on Tuesday March 6, 2018, at 11 a.m.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Kenny’s friends in Ontario who supported and assisted him during this most difficult time. Your kindness and thoughtfulness will never be forgotten.
