Bathurst – Mrs. Hazel Harris, 92, wife of the late Chesley Harris, formerly of Riverside Dr., Bathurst, passed away on Saturday March 17, 2018 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Chipman and Ethel (Good) Smith.

Hazel was a member of the Eastern Star and past Grand Matron. She was a member of the First United Church and the UCW and worked as a Registered Nurse until her retirement. 

She is survived by two daughters: Linda MacFarlane of Markdale, ON and Susan Harris (Charlie) of Uxbridge, Ont.

One son:  Richard Harris (Linda) of Abbotsford, BC.

Five grandchildren: Kim (Hughes), Debra (Alan), Derek (Casey), Allison (Shawn) & Troy.   

Four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst.  Funeral Service will be held on Friday March 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the First United Church, St. Patrick St., Bathurst.
