Allan Lavigne, 61, of St. Theresa Cres., Bathurst, passed away on Friday (April 29, 2005) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness. Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Gordon and Evangeline (Lanteigne) Lavigne. He was a long time employee for W. J. Kent & Co. He is survived by his companion, Line Haché of Bathurst Four brothers: Ronald Lavigne (Yvette) and Douglas Lavigne (Diane) both of Bathurst Frank Lavigne (Anne) of Beresford Maurice Lavigne (Sharon) of St. Anne's, Glou. Co. One sister: Roseline O'Connell of Elliot Lake, ON Several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by brothers Randolph and Walter. The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Monday at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday morning (May 3, 2005) at 11:00 a.m. from St. Theresa Church, South Bathurst.
