Wilfred A. "Bill" Vienneau, of the Robert L. Knowles Veteran’s Unit passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst, at the age of 93.
Born in Bathurst he was the son of the late Albert and Lydia Vienneau.
He was a Veteran of the Second World War and a retired from Brunswick Mines in 1986.
He will be sadly missed by his five daugthers: Carol-Ann Dubroy (William Duguay) of Bathurst, Marilyn Quirion (Robert) of Ontario, Ida Hamelin (Richard) of South Porcupine, ON, Anita Robitaille (Denis Dumas) of Timmins, Donna Hill (Eric) of Palm Spring, California, and three sons: George, Wayne (Judy) both of Timmins and Daniel (Cathy) of Alberta.
Eleven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren whom he adored.
One sister Émérentienne (Lou) (Gérard) Boucher of Bathurst.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by the mother of his children Jean-d’Arc (Maurice) Vienneau in 2013. He was also predeceased by one son Albert (Norma) in 2009, four brothers: Henry (Rose), Jean (Frances), Laurent (Joe) (Liza), Gérard (Mary) and one sister Isabelle Landry (Alexis).
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will take place at Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel, (www.elhatton.com) at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2018.
