With celebration of a life well lived we, the family, announce the passing of Lorraine Simmons of Bathurst, which occurred on Friday, December 21st, 2018 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst at the age of 71.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Chesley and Gertrude (Hebert) Simmons.
She is survived by her daughter, Nicole LeBlanc (Keith) of Moncton, N.B.
Two grandchildren: Alex and Nicky.
Four sisters: Marion (late Albert Stever) of Moncton, Shirley Frenette (Johnny), and Rosemarie Roy (Donald) both of Beresford, and Nancy Schichilone (Pierre) of B.C.
Two brothers: Roger (Laurent Legacy) and Johnny Simmons both of Bathurst.
Several nieces and nephews.
Special friend, Donald Pitre of Chamberlain Settlement.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 10 am at Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com), where the funeral service will take place at 11 am.
