Bathurst - Mrs. Ruth Chiasson, wife of the late Kenneth Chiasson, of Bathurst, passed away on Friday October 15, 2021, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 91.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Inez (Peters) Scott.

She is survived by one son, Blair Chiasson of Ontario.

Two grandchildren.

Several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Jane Jagoe of Canobie.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was pre-deceased by a son, Ronald; her brothers and sister: Marvel, Eldon, Irving and Byron.

There will be no visitations at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be held on Friday October 22, 2021, at 11 a.m. from Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Masks and proof of double vaccination will be required. Please arrive by 10:30.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Oasis by the Baie for the care given to Ruth. Donations in memory of Ruth may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
