Bathurst - It is with heavy hearts that the family of Eva McClean (Feltham) announce her passing at the Foyer Notre-Dame-De-Lourdes, Bathurst, NB on January 14, 2022, at the age of 91.

She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Jim; her daughters Glenda McClean of Richmond, BC, Valerie Tozer (David) of Bathurst, NB and son James McClean (Monique) of Long Creek, PEI; her grandchildren Rebekah Tozer of Boston, MA, Stuart Tozer (Lindsay) of Lafayette, CO, Kathleen Tozer (Stephen) of Halifax, NS, Abby McClean of Cornwall, PE, Emily McClean of Halifax, NS and Jim McClean of Charlottetown, PE.

She was adored by her great-grandchildren Amy, Alyssa and Lincoln McClean of Cornwall, PE.

She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews in Canada and Ireland.

Eva was born on Bragg’s Island, Newfoundland and was the youngest daughter of John and Alexandra Feltham.

In 1954, she met the love of her life, Jim, in Gander, NL and they were married in 1956. From there, they lived in many locations across Canada before settling in Bathurst in 1972. Eva was loved by her family. She enjoyed serving others and was actively involved in her church, Woman's Missionary Society, Christian Women’s Club and Gideons. She enjoyed knitting, reading and travelling. During their retirement, Eva and Jim traveled extensively in Canada, the United States and Europe.

In addition to her parents, Eva was pre-deceased by her brothers Nathan and Edgar as well as her sister, Hettie. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Due to the current pandemic, there will be no visitations at the Funeral Home. A private service will be held from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
