It is with great sadness, we the family, wish to announce the passing of Bertha Landry which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst on Saturday April 9th, 2022 at the age of 89.

Born in Madran, she was the wife of Clifford Landry and daughter of the late Leon Cormier and the late Marie-Gertrude Vienneau.

She is survived by her children: Diane Landry, Marcel (Huguette) Landry and Carol Landry.

Four grandchildren: Justin (Jennifer) Landry, Jennifer (Matt) Savoie, Stephanie (Daniel) Bennett and Casandra Landry (Adam Chamberlain) and five great-grandchildren: Kaden Chamberlain, Charlotte and Harrison Bennett, Cole and Vera Landry.

She is also survived by her sister, Ester Cormier along with many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Linda Landry.

The family wishes to extend their thanks and deep appreciation to all the Extra Mural staff and for their wonderful home care and to the staff of 4th Floor East and Palliative Care Unit of the Chaleur Regional Hospital.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held Thursday April 21st, 2022 at 11 a.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com).
