Bathurst - Mrs. Evelyn Russell, 85, wife of the late Harry Russell, of Rough Waters Dr., Bathurst, passed away on Sunday (January 8, 2006) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Ola (Peters) Jennings. She worked in offices of the former Consolidated Bathurst Paper Mill. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Harry Russell, in 1994. She is survived by: Three sons: Byron Russell of Emsdale, ON Robert 'Bob' Russell of Ottawa, ON Malcolm 'Mac' Russell (Joanne) of Bathurst One daughter: Clara Carroll (Wayne) of Bathurst One brother: Douglas Jennings (Hazel) of Bathurst Five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday afternoon (January 11, 2006) at 2:00 p.m. from the First United Church, St. Patrick St., Bathurst. Burial will be in the Highland View Cemetery, in the spring. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 t o 9.
