Mrs. Berthilde Arseneau, 76, of Pleasant St., Bathurst, passed away on Monday (January 23, 2006) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late William and Valarie (Lanteigne) Chiasson. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Lucien Arseneau, in 1997. She is survived by: One son: Charles Arseneau (Joanne Roy) of Bathurst Six daughters: Lucienne Thériault (Eldon), Jocelyne Gauthier and Nicole Roy (Armand Vienneau), all of Bathurst Denise Haney of Ottawa, ON Thérèse Arseneau (Marcel Tessier) of Magog, Que. Aline Laplante (Donald) of Madran, NB Two brothers: Ivan Chiasson (Gail) and Ronny Chiasson (Carmelle), both of Bathurst Three sisters: Jean Arseneau (Leonard) and Yvette Boyce (John) both of Bathurst Gisèle Pelley of Calgary, AB Nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by two brothers; Lewis, John, and three sisters; Anita, Effie and Judy. The body is resting at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning (January 26, 2006) at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Family Church, Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 7 to 9 and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral.
