Miramichi Road – Ronald Alexander, passed away on Thursday October 10, 2024, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 76.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late James and Edith (Kent) Alexander.

Ronald worked as a truck driver for most of his life.

He leaves behind his wife Marlene (Coombs) Alexander and two children: Karen Lavigne (Dickie) of Bathurst and Glenn (Debra)of Edmonton, AB.

Five grandchildren: Brandon, Jordan, Ryan, Megan and Amy.

Two brothers: Burton Alexander of North Tetagouche and Earl Alexander of Bathurst.

One sister, Katherine Doucet of North Tetagouche.

Several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was pre-deceased by a son, Neil, three brothers: Alton, Billy, Robert "Bobby"  and a sister, Mildred.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 11 a.m. from the First United Church, Bathurst.

Donations in memory of Ronald can be made to the Diabetes Association or a favorite charity. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
