It is with sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Lorina Doucet, wife of the late Normand Doucet, which occurred at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst, at the age of 95.

Born in Bathurst she was the daughter of the late Raymond Couture and Emilie (St-Pierre) Couture.

She leaves to mourn her children: Richard (Susie) Doucet and Jeanne Doucet both of Bathurst.

Her Grandchildren: Jacqueline, Huguette, Lucie, Luc, Kayla, Shawn and Dennie.

Her siblings: Romeo (Hilda) Couture and Juliette Lavigne both of Beresford, Yvonne (Gérald) Chamberlain of Ontario,

 Several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her children: Vernon and Simon. Her siblings: Auréle, André, Evangeline, Violette, Wallace, Armand and Janita.

Home and family were very important for Lorina, she loved spending time outdoors, working in the garden and taking care of the yard. She was a great mother and grandmother who would help anyone in the family.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 2p.m. from Elhatton’ s Funeral Home Chapel.

Donations in memory of Lorina may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’ s Funeral Home, Bathurst (www.elhatton.com).
