Bathurst – Mrs. Glenda Chiasson, wife of the late Raymond Chiasson of Bathurst, passed away on November 21, 2024, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 83.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Mathilda (Robichaud) Frenette.

She is survived by three daughters: Michelle Ouellette (Charles) of Ottawa, ON, Lori Sewell (Joey) of Pabineau First Nation and Rachelle Chiasson of Bathurst.

One son, David Chiasson of Bathurst.

Grandchildren: Nicholas, Timothy, Anjelikka & Caroline Ouellette, Kayla & Meahgan Doucet, Patrick, Jonathan, Sarah, Samantha Nathaniel, Jessica, Raymond, Grace, & David Chiasson, Morgan & Troy Sewell.

Great Grandchildren: Lydia, Bentley, Hailey, Jacob, Noelle, Theodore & Raymond.

Six brothers: Lucien, Alban, Edward & Raymond all of Toronto and Claude & Gilles both of Bathurst.

Three sisters: Carmella & Donna both of Toronto & Marcella of Bathurst.

Several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Paula & two sisters Cora and Hilda.

There will be no visitations at the funeral home.  Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday November 27, 2024, at 11 a.m. from Holy Family Church, Bathurst.  Donations in memory of Glenda can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home, Bathurst.
