Mary Catherine DeLong passed away at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on December 23, 2024 after a lengthy illness at the age of 77.

Born in Maine, USA she was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary Catherine (Peter Paul) Sewell.

She is survived by her sisters: Hilda Peter Paul and Phyllis Ignacz both of Pabineau First Nation.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Daniel, Gilbert and sisters Stella Kryszko, Jeannie Sewell.
