It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Karen Nowlan of Bathurst, which occurred on Friday February 7th, 2025, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital at the age of 64.

Born in Bathurst, NB she was the daughter of the late James and Noella (Henry) Christie.

She is survived by her siblings: Lennie Christie of Oshawa, ON, Carmel Renton (Wayne Zaplachinski) of Alberta,

Brian Christie (Lisa) of South Tetagouche and Kevin Christie (Irene) of Big River. As well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brothers: Ronnie, Paul and Henry.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation and thank you to the staff of the D.M. Boudreau Residence in Bathurst for the care given to Karen during her stay.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, at 2 p.m. from the Elhatton Funeral Chapel.
