Bathurst - Emile Chiasson, 94, of Reese St., Bathurst, passed away on Thursday (7 September, 2006) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness. Born in Lameque, he was the son of the late Maxime and Sarah (Paulin) Chiasson. He worked for the former Consolidated Bathurst Paper Mill. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by: 2 Sons: Emmanuel Chiasson and Ralph Chiasson, both of Bathurst 2 Daughters: Yvette Legacy (late Clovis)and Diane Chiasson both of Bathurst. Several nieces and nephews. He was predeseased by his wife Ethel (Doucet) Chiasson. The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. from Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St. Burial was in the parish cemetery, King Ave.
