Bathurst - Mrs. Amanda Hachey, 94, wife of the late Martin Hachey, of the Villa Sormany, Robertville and formerly of Sunset Dr., Bathurst, passed away on Sunday (October 15, 2006) at the Villa Sormany. Born in Robertville, she was the daughter of the late Théodore and Philomène (DeGrace) Boudreau. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Martin Hachey. She is survived by: One son: Majella Hachey (Rina) of Beresford Nine daughters: Rosella (Lucien Boudreau), Alice (Joseph Richard), Claudette (Giuseppe Zambito), Adeline (Steven Rollins), Rosemonde (Arnold Roy), all of Bathurst Yolande (Clovis Legacé) of North Tetagouche, NB Adelia Wylie (late Gordon) of Montreal, Que. Germaine (Gilbert Vienneau) of Dunlop, NB Phyllis (Clement Dupuis) of Grande Vallée, Gaspésie Daughter-in-law: Ella Hachey of Bathurst Two brothers: Auguste Boudreau (Rose) of Bathurst Edmond Boudreau (Odilla) of Sormany Five sisters: Bernadette Boudreau (late Alcide) of Sormany, NB Yvette Hachey (Emilien) of Ste Anne's, NB Rosalie Boudreau (Anselm) of Petit-Rocher, NB Blanche Cormier (late Clovis) of New Richmond, Que. Bertha Muredeth (late Leslie) of Moncton, NB One sister-in-law: Lionile Boudreau (late Wilfred) of Bathurst One brother-in-law: Charles Daigle (late Lionile) of North Tetegouche, NB 24 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by 4 brothers; George, Majella, Wilfred, Clovis, and 5 sisters; Dolores, Laura, Regina, Cécile and Lionile. The body will rest at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday afternoon (October 17, 2006) at 4:00 p.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary (Eglise Notre Dame du Rosaire), St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visiting hours are Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until time of Funeral.
