Nicholas Pinet, 86, of Vale Dr., Bathurst, passed away on Thursday (November l6, 2006) at the Chaleur Regional hospital after a brief illness. Born in Burnsville, he was the son of the late William ''Willie'' and Agathe (Landry) Pinet. He served in World War II, with the Royal Canadian Army in Canada. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for most of his life. He is survived by his wife Anne Marie (LeGresley) Pinet. One son: Guillaume (Annette Tremblay) of Bathurst. Two sisters: Imelda Branch and Géraldine Haché both of Paquetville. Two grandchildren; Michelle and Marc André. Several nieces and nephew. He was pre-deceased by 3 sisters; Sr. Yvonne, Lucia, Florence and 2 brothers; Léopold, Adelbert and Donat. The body will rest after 11:30 Saturday morning at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday (November 18, 2006) at 2:00 pm from Our Lady of Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in parish cemetery. Visiting hours are Saturday at 11:30 am until times of Funerals
