Emery Lavigne, 86, of Robertville, passed away on Friday (March 30, 2007) at the Villa Sormany, Robertville. Born in Robertville, he was the son of the late Francois and Delphine (Boudreau) Lavigne. He was a former employee of Eddy's Ltd. Besides his wife, Valerie (Frenette) Lavigne, he is survived by: One son: Gilles Lavigne (Lynn) of Lakeville, NB One daughter: Jacqueline Imam (Syed Mairaj) of Mississauga, ON Four brothers: Jean Lavigne (Leona) and Ernest Lavigne (late Patricia) both of Robertville Armand Lavigne of Timmons, ON Emile Lavigne (Adélia) of Toronto, ON Four sisters: Josephine Bertin (Late Gérard), Marie Louise Doucet (late Gilbert) and Patricia Bryar (Roger) all of Robertville Amelie Hebert (late Phil) of Montreal, Que. 2 grandchildren; Noor M. and Abid M., several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a son; Joseph Gilles, a daughter; Diane, and a brother; Alvin. The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday afternoon (April 2, 2007) at 4:00 p.m. from Eglise Ste Thérèse, Robertville. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Monday from 2:00 p.m. until time of funeral.
