Dunlop - Mrs. Jeannine Roy, 64, wife of Roger Roy, of Dunlop, passed away on Monday (April 23, 2007) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness. Born in Belledune, she was the daughter of the late Armand and Germaine (Martel) Cormier. She was a Registered Nurses Assistant at the Chaleur Regional Hospital for many years. Besides her husband, she is survived by: Two sons: Daniel Roy (Carole Michaud), of Montreal, Que. Raymond Roy (Brigitte LeVasseur) of Robertville One daughter: Caroline Roy (Louis LeFort) of Laval, Que. One brother: René Cormier (Thérèse) of Belledune Two sisters: Carmel Doiron (Edgar) of Edmundston, NB Marcelle Snyder of Oshawa, ON 2 grandchildren; Gabriel, Alexandrine, several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be celebrated on Saturday (May 19, 2007) at 11:00 a.m. from Elhatton`s Funeral Home Chapel, St. George St., Bathurst, with Father Greg Culligan officiating.
