JAGOE, Gordon … 91, formerly of Clifton, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2007 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Clifton, he was the son of the late Ellis and Mathilda (Sargent) Jagoe. He was predeceased by his wife, Agnes (Good) in 1989.
He is survived by:
Three Children:
Roger (the late Dolly) Jagoe of of Clifton
Barbara (William) Knowles of Clifton
Parker (Anita) Jagoe of Robertville
Ten grandchildren:
Harlin, Kelly, Kayla, Tom, Lesa, Ryan, Marcel, Shawn, Alana and Shannon
Eleven great-grandchildren:
Alyssa, Emily, Megan, Morgan, Shelby, Simon, Rebecca, Sam, Brandi, Brody and Sarah.
Several nieces and nephews.
He was the late surviving member of his immediate family.
Throughout his life, Gordon worked as a farmer, fisherman, boat builder, and diamond driller. He was employed at Northern Machine Works and SMI Industries. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed the great outdoors. He was also one of the first Scout leaders in the Downshore area.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Elhatton Funeral Home, Bathurst. The funeral will be 2 PM Wednesday, May 9, 2007 from Christ Church Anglican, Clifton. Burial will be Christ Church Anglican Cemetery, Clifton. Donations may be made to Christ Church Anglican Memorial Fund or a charity of choice.www.elhatton.com
