Mrs. Rita Aubie, 81, of Church St. Bathurst, passed away on Friday (May 4, 2007) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Germain and Marie Alice (Hebert) Duclos. She was a member of the Lady's Auxillary or the Herman J. Good, V.C. 18, Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst. She was pre-deceased by her 1st husband, Leander Duguay in 1961. She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Aubie. One daughter: Jeannette Glazier (Alderic) of Bathurst One sister: Jeannette Duguay (Alphonse) of Bathurst 3 grandchildren; Lucie, Daniel and Noëlla. 2 great-grandchildren; Sarah Lee and Megan Rose. Several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday (May 7, 2007) at 11:00 a.m. from St. Theresa Church, South Bathurst.
