Bathurst … Georgette Legacy, 53, formerly of Douglas Ave., Bathurst, passed away on Saturday (August 25, 2007), at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Campbellton, she was the daughter of the late Eva Legacy and Edmond Haché and was the adopted daughter of the late Albert and Eveline (Power) Legacy. She is survived by her brothers and sisters; Marcel of Caraquet, Roseline of Bathurst, Theresa, Gerald of Ontario and Marilyn of Jacque River and Adrien Guitard of Belledune. She was pre-deceased by her adoptive brothers; Auguste “Kid” Legacy and Alfred Legacy. She leaves also her special friend Charles Christie and very good friends Denise and Lucien Benoit, Gerrance Furlotte and Raymond Legacy and several nieces and nephews. The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Monday at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday morning (August 28, 2007) at 11:00 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Bathurst. Visiting hours are Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral.
