Mrs. Julia (Doucet) Chamberlain (1917-2007) of Bathurst, wife of Thomas Chamberlain, passed away on Thursday, October 4th, 2007 at home at the age of 90. Born on August 2nd, 1917, daughter of the late Emma Fournier and Jean-Baptiste Doucet. She is survived by her husband as well as her daughters: Patricia Chamberlain (Ron Herrington) and Brigitte (Dan Greene); her granddaughters: Kim MacDougall, Dawn Chamberlain and Brandy (Dave Ayles); her great granddaughters: Emma (Kim) and Saydee (Dawn); her brother Victorin Doucet (Véronique); 2 sisters: Alma Godin and Eva Guignard; her sisters-in-law: Gladys Chamberlain and Eva Roberts; her brothers-in-law: Vincent Chamberlain (Clara) and Hector Chamberlain; one sister-in-law by marriage , Léonilde Chamberlain; as well as several nephews and nieces. The body will rest at Elhatton's Funeral Home. Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 6th, 2007 from 7-9 pm and on Sunday, October 7th, 2007 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church on Monday, October 8th, 2007 at 11:00 am.
