1931 - 2013

Bathurst - Mrs. Marguerite Richard, 82, wife of the late Armand Richard (1994), of Maria Ave., Bathurst, passed away Tuesday (December 31, 2013) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Aylmer, Que., she was the daughter of the late Olivier and Doralie (Perron) Charland.

She is survived by four sons: John (Bernadette Chiasson) of South Tetagouche, Jacques (Caroline Vienneau) of Robertville, Allain (Lisa Frenette) of Rosehill, N.B. and Ronald Richard of Bathurst.

Seven grandchildren: Stéphane, Isabelle, Céline, Annie, Krystel, Robin and Zacharie.

Four great-grandchildren: Allyssa, Alexandre, Samuel and Marie-Eve.

Five brothers:  George Charland of Rivière-Héva, Que., Raymond Charland of Val-d'Or, Que., Roland Charland of Montreal, Que., Jacques Charland of Rouyn, Que. and Gérald Charland of Quebec, Que.

One sister, Yvette Charland of Val-d'Or, Que.

Several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, January 3, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday (January 4, 2014) at 11 a.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst.

Donations in memory of Marguerite may be made to the Red Cross, the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
